They are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join a small team responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of apartment buildings, performing tasks such as painting, cleaning, basic plumbing, and repairs.

Responsibilities
Property upkeep by providing cleaning services
Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.)
Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary
Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed
Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide
Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.)
Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required

Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
High school diploma or equivalent
Successful candidates will be required to undergo a comprehensive background check as a condition of employment

Must be able to sustain prolonged periods of standing and/or capable of extensive walking, climbing of stairs and ladders
Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces
Must be capable of lifting/carrying a minimum of 50 pounds by applying proper body mechanics
Preferred
2 to 3 years of experience in Apartment Maintenance
A certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field would be a plus
