Maintenance Specialist

White River Toyota is a company focused on maintaining a smooth operation, and they are seeking a Maintenance Specialist to manage various maintenance tasks. This role involves ensuring the facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained while responding to emergencies and coordinating repairs as needed.

Retail

Responsibilities

Perform basic duties in carpentry, electrical, painting, plumbing, heating/ventilating, and roofing
Responsible for outlining and adhering to maintenance schedules for service equipment
Responsible for monitoring landscaping, office, janitorial, housekeeping, and security performance and cleanliness
Assist in the oversight of contractors and vendors
Inspect building sites and equipment for needed repair and maintenance work
Perform routine maintenance on a variety of equipment (ie. alignment racks, air compressors, waste oil furnaces, etc)
Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required, and troubleshoot issues to determine case and solutions
Collect and sort recyclable materials, including paper, cardboard, steel, aluminum, etc
Clean shop and drive lane floor
Call vendors to remove hazardous waste and pump out waste oil tanks
Snow removal in the winter months
Follow all health and safety regulations
Other tasks as assigned

Required

High school degree or equivalent
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Basic competency in carpentry, electrical, painting, plumbing, heating/ventilating, and security
Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
Integrity and ability to work independently
An ability to work on your own and motivate yourself to excel is required
Strong judgment, positive attitude, and ability to work well with others

Preferred

Proven working experience in a maintenance setting is a plus
