Slot Technician
Seneca Gaming Corporation is seeking a Slot Technician to maintain and repair electronic slot equipment efficiently. The role involves ensuring all slot machines operate according to company standards, performing repairs, and assisting with related equipment across various operations.

Responsibilities
Ensure all slot machines on the casino floor are operating according to company standards
Rebuild parts/equipment during down time; maintain the parts inventory as assigned
Circulate through assigned area performing repairs as necessary
Ensure that all slot/storage areas are cleaned and organized
Responsible for the initial set-up and testing of all new slot products
Complete all regulatory/operational documents thoroughly and legibly
Responsible for the security of keys and all issued tools and equipment needed to perform the function of the position
Maintain the integrity of the slot machine equipment and secure all company assets and property at all times
Assist the Finance department by maintaining and repairing currency and currency related equipment
Notify the Cage Shift Managers/Cage Manager of all maintenance and repairs performed on equipment
Track and record all finance equipment repairs/maintenance on equipment tracking log sheet
Provide report to the Cage Shift Managers/Cage Manager of any parts or supplies needed to maintain and/or repair finance equipment
Assist the Table Games Department by maintaining and repairing any Table Games’ electronic equipment as requested
Conduct regular inspections of machines and equipment
Participate in the repair of progressive gaming and other electronic displays
Maintain a current understanding of all policy and guidelines regarding information security including the Seneca Gaming Corporation Acceptable Use Policy. Understand and comply with all information security policies and procedures at all times
Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicate in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times. Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors, managers and staff
Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies
Must complete all required SGC Training programs within nine (9) months from commencement of employment
Attend all necessary meetings, including equipment training classes from vendors whether in-house or off company property
Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by a 24-hour schedule
Qualification
Required
Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment
High School Diploma or equivalent GED required
Must be knowledgeable in Electronic theory and have a minimum of one (1) year experience as a Slot Technician in a licensed jurisdiction or have a minimum of two years' experience in Electronics or closely related field
Candidate must complete the internal testing and evaluation process of the approved SGC Slot Technical training program
Exhibits superior communication skills and training skills with the ability to learn on their own
Working knowledge of computer software applications and practical usage
Ability to perform basic mathematical functions with regard to monetary units and compute slot machines percentages
Must possess excellent communication skills
Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers
Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees
Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino
Must be able to reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; use hands to touch, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls
Must be capable of using various electronic test equipment and power tools
Must frequently lift and/or move a minimum of fifty (50) pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations
