The Technical Designer for Childrenswear is responsible for ensuring high-quality standards and fit consistency throughout the garment development process, including creating specifications and conducting fittings.

Develop initial garment specs for costing and sample production

Conduct fittings through to production sample approval

Establish specifications and construction requirements for various garment types

Communicate fit revisions to vendors with technical packages

Create and maintain on-time vendor-ready tech packs, including sketches, materials, and measurement charts

Collaborate with design and technical teams to enhance processes

Ensure brand integrity and fit consistency throughout development

Participate in daily handoffs, translating fit and aesthetic details with cross-functional teams

Recommend improvements on specs and construction techniques
