Responsibilities
Lead design and configuration of Beaker CP/AP workflows, instrument interfaces, and middleware integrations
Architect and validate cross-specialty templates (Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Molecular, AP)
Partner with enterprise architecture and revenue-cycle teams to strengthen the digital chain from order capture through results, coding, and billing
Manage validation protocols, regression testing, and change-control documentation
Mentor analysts, establishing configuration standards and reusable components
Monitor operational KPIs (TAT, error rate, billing success) and implement system enhancements to improve experience and efficiency
Qualification
Required
5+ years of Epic Beaker configuration experience with measurable improvements in laboratory performance
Mastery of specimen routing, result rules, and billing interface logic
Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary build teams
Deep understanding of regulatory and data-integrity standards in a lab setting
Bachelor's degree in computer science, medical technology or related field or equivalent work experience
Epic Beaker CP or AP certification
Travel less than 10%
English Required
Preferred
Experience integrating Beaker with automation systems or reference-lab networks
Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or continuous-improvement methodologies
Additional relevant Epic certifications
Project-management or process-improvement credential (PMP, Green Belt etc)
