Responsibilities
Set the technical direction and long-term architecture for our distributed backend services and shared infrastructure
Drive alignment across Product, Compliance, and multiple engineering squads to transform high-level organizational goals into actionable engineering roadmaps
Migrate core logic out of Salesforce, ensuring zero downtime and data integrity during the transition
Evangelize engineering excellence by establishing org-wide standards for observability, reliability, and system health
Mentor other engineers and influence the broader organization, fostering a culture of technical rigor and collective ownership
Qualification
Required
8+ years of relevant engineering experience, with deep expertise in Java, Kotlin, or Go
Proven success acting as a system designer for large-scale migrations, specifically unwinding monoliths into service-oriented architectures
Ability to navigate deep ambiguity, anticipating technical risks and bottlenecks before they impact delivery
Strong influence and leadership skills, capable of driving consensus on complex technical trade-offs with stakeholders across the company
Preferred
Experience in fintech, identity verification, or building horizontal platforms is a plus
