Responsibilities
Oversee the full accounting function, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, taxes, and general ledger
Lead the month-end and year-end close processes and prepare timely, accurate financial statements
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for the firm
Oversee equity partner distributions and related reporting
Ensure compliance with all tax, regulatory, and internal control requirements
Supervise and mentor three staff-level accountants, providing leadership, guidance, and development
Partner with firm leadership to support strategic and financial decision-making
Continuously improve processes while maintaining the firm’s high standards and professional culture
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 8 years of overall accounting experience
CPA license required
At least 3 years of management or supervisory experience
Strong background overseeing a full accounting function
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop staff
High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with senior leadership and partners
Preferred
Professional services experience is a plus
