Responsibilities
Prepare and review individual, corporate and partnership tax returns
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
Conduct tax research and provide strategic tax planning recommendations
Make year-end adjusting entries and apply accounting knowledge to help ensure clientโs financial records are accurate, complete, and properly organized
Review financial statements and provide insights to clients
Assist with year-end planning, quarterly estimates, and multi-state tax situations
Support implementation of tax strategies, advisory recommendations, and internal process improvements
Maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and support
Collaborate with CAAS, wealth advisory, and admin teams to ensure a seamless client experience
Provide training, coaching, and support to coworkers to help strengthen their skills and contribute to consistent, high-quality work across the team
Utilize firm software systems such as Xero, CCH Axcess, Karbon, and others (training provided)
Qualification
Required
Active CPA license required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of public accounting or tax experience
Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with clients
Comfortable working in a tech-forward environment
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
