Responsibilities
Participates in and occasionally leads the development of new cabinets
Designs and models complex mechanical parts and assemblies
Ensures mechanical components meet qualification specifications
Resolves complex mechanical problems
Participates in mechanical brainstorming meetings with key stakeholders
Reviews, approves and provides guidance on updating documentation for mechanical products
Mentors other team members and serves as a subject matter expert for the team
Troubleshoots complex issues and provides technical and economically feasible solutions
Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the manager
Qualification
Required
University degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent or relevant experience
In-depth knowledge of SolidWorks and/or other 3D modeling software
5+ years of experience working in mechanical engineering
Expertise in gaming industry certification requirements related to mechanical design
Strong communication skills
Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Ability to coach and mentor
Ability to analyze and synthesize technical data
Strong attention to detail and thoroughness
Preferred
Good interpersonal skills
Able to work as part of a team or independently
