Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients, tenants, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk
Monitor access to the building, verify identification of individuals entering the location, and maintain visitor logs as required
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols
Communicate professionally with building occupants and visitors, addressing inquiries and/or concerns related to building access or security-related matters
Assist with emergency response activities at the front desk, including alerting appropriate personnel and following emergency procedures as directed by Allied Universal and site management
Operate security-related equipment such as access control systems, surveillance cameras, and communication devices as required for the front desk post
Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activities, and/or maintenance concerns to Allied Universal management and site contacts according to established guidelines
Qualification
Required
At least one year of security-related experience
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Access control or badge experience
A guard card or license
