Responsibilities
Commissioning, qualifying, and supporting assembly for SCBA products
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to scale up and qualify new products
Leading continuous improvement projects in a Lean Manufacturing environment
Leading programs to improve product and process understanding (PPU) with emphasis on statistical techniques
Determining and implementing capital improvement projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start)
Preferred
Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution
Experience in project management
Experience working with Lean Manufacturing concepts/practices
Demonstrated experience participating on cross functional teams
Flexible to provide support across different shifts of manufacturing operations as needed
Engineering co-op or intern experience
Self-starter/self-directed that leads with high energy and passion
