The role involves collecting and analyzing vibration data, providing maintenance recommendations, and supporting corrective actions to enhance equipment reliability in the Pulp & Paper industry.

Responsibilities
Collect, validate, and analyze vibration data on rotating equipment to detect developing faults and support root-cause investigations
Provide actionable maintenance recommendations that improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
Collaborate with reliability and maintenance teams to support corrective and preventive actions
Maintain accurate records in vibration software and asset health databases
Support the setup and verification of online condition monitoring systems
Identify and communicate equipment condition changes such as unbalance, misalignment, or looseness
Participate in weekend duty rotation, providing remote or on-site support for urgent equipment evaluations
Follow ANDRITZ safety standards and ISO 18436-2 guidelines in all vibration-related activities
Qualification
Required
Certification in Vibration Analysis – ISO Category II
High school diploma or equivalent
Physical ability for field inspection in Pulp & Paper mills
Strong communication skills—able to present findings clearly and objectively
Emotional stability and professionalism under pressure
Willingness and ability to travel (25% in North America)
Preferred
Technical training in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance
Experience with predictive maintenance technologies (ultrasound, thermography)
Certification in Vibration Analysis – ISO Category I
