They are seeking an Internal Audit Intern to contribute to their internal auditing team by assisting with SOX compliance, conducting audits, and improving audit efficiency through technology.

Responsibilities

Assist in executing and reporting on Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance and control testing of internal policies, procedures, and rules that impact the organization’s operations and environment. This includes working in business process controls as well as IT general controls (ITGC)

With guidance and supervision from Senior Auditors, perform Tests of Design and Test of Operating Effectiveness, conduct walkthroughs, and request, obtain, and test audit evidence

Participate in the Internal Audit initiative to identify opportunities to further develop the utilization of artificial intelligence tools to improve internal audit efficiency

Interact with senior management, key stakeholders and external auditors

Assist with designing new workflows within the audit management system, AuditBoard, to enhance user capabilities

Required

Student who will be a rising Senior during the summer of 2026 pursuing a Bachelor of Science/Business Administration in Accounting, Management, Information Systems, Economics, or related field with a minimum GPA of 3.2

Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint

Critical thinker with the ability to synthesize complex information and conceptualize solutions

Demonstrated integrity and commitment to the highest ethical standards and personal values

Self-motivation and initiative to organize and prioritize work
