Responsibilities

Support the provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of AWS cloud infrastructure components including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and VPC

Perform Linux and Windows system administration tasks including patching, user management, and monitoring

Assist in the implementation and maintenance of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform

Monitor system performance, logs, and alerts using AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and other monitoring utilities

Support cloud backup, recovery, and cost optimization strategies

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system availability, performance, and configuration

Implement and maintain security controls consistent with FAA cybersecurity and compliance requirements

Participate in CI/CD pipeline operations and automated system deployment activities

Maintain accurate and current system documentation, configurations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Collaborate with senior engineers and FAA stakeholders to ensure reliable and secure operation of cloud-hosted systems
