Responsibilities
Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts
Investigate historical data for each debt or bill, analyze accounts for accuracy, completeness, and justification - Credit memo, debit memo and payment/billing adjustments
Advise and follow-up with customers on unpaid accounts
Keep records and status of customer's account updated
Contact/email customers to request payment for prepaid account and/or past due invoices
Support collection and cash application teams with escalations and guidance
Work cross functionally within the organization to resolve issues
Review and recommend accounts for research and reconciliation
Perform collection activities as a hands-on member of the collection team
Review all invoices for appropriate documentation for collection
Qualification
Required
At least 3 Years' experience in a similar role
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiar with POD, BOL, PO, Invoices, CM and Chargeback
Analyzation and Freight Claim, Know-how
Analytical problem solver
Understanding of basic accounting principles
Understanding of back charges
Maintain complete and accurate customer account records
Good follow-up and organizational skills
Demonstrated experience in implementation AR and collection
Well organized and a self-starter
Strong team player and efficient independent worker
Ability to build rapport with clients
Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques
Preferred
Accounting background
Familiarization of Return Merchandise Authorization
