Responsibilities
Develop and execute ZO’s professional education and training strategies in alignment with global business objectives
Create and maintain comprehensive educational content and curricula for sales teams, clinics, and international distributors
Lead and mentor a team of training managers, educators, and field trainers to ensure consistent delivery across regions
Oversee the design and implementation of e-learning platforms and hybrid learning models for internal and external users
Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Product Development to integrate training programs with product launches, campaigns, and clinical innovations
Evaluate training effectiveness using measurable KPIs such as sales growth, engagement, and certification completion rates
Develop and manage the training budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve maximum ROI
Represent ZO Skin Health as a brand ambassador at educational events, conferences, and webinars
Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure training materials remain compliant, accurate, and aligned with the latest scientific standards
Maintain deep knowledge of the professional skincare and medical aesthetics industries to ensure competitive advantage
Reposition the role as execution- and revenue-focused, with clear accountability for leading and developing the field-based training team
Clarify that strategy and core educational content are owned by Global Education/Marketing, not Training
Reinforce that the Director of Training is a close collaborator with Global Education (Yaneth) and Sales leadership, not a standalone entity
Remove language that implied ownership of global education strategy or independent content creation, which was contributing to past confusion and fragmentation
Strengthen expectations around KPIs, operating cadence, and field effectiveness tied to sales outcomes
Qualification
Required
Proven experience (8+ years) in corporate training, professional education, or learning and development within the medical aesthetics, skincare, or beauty industry
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop diverse teams
Expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design, and e-learning technologies
Exceptional project management and organizational abilities, with a focus on detail and execution
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and virtual training platforms
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate training data into strategic insights
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence at all organizational levels
Commitment to maintain brand integrity, compliance, and scientific accuracy across all educational materials
