Responsibilities

Develop and implement marketing plans aligned with the goals of the practice group, the business development strategy, and the Firm’s global strategy

Identify, develop and refine audience segments for practice, ensuring marketing initiatives effectively reach and engage priority clients and prospects

Ensure consistent application of the practice-level brand positioning and narratives across all marketing materials and initiatives

Execute cross-channel campaigns including digital, PR, social media, events, to support the unique needs of the practice

Support opportunities for client targeting, cross-selling, and key client programs, in partnership with business development team

Help plan and oversee client events, webinars, and sponsorships, ensuring alignment with the practice’s strategic priorities

Conduct competitive and client research to identify trends, opportunities, and support thought leadership efforts in partnership with the business development team

Partner with central Communications team (Media Relations and Internal Comms) and external agencies to deliver earned media opportunities, and internal communications initiatives

Work closely with practice leadership, business development, and global marketing functions to ensure alignment

Track and report on KPIs for practice-level campaigns, aligned with global measurement strategy

Manage practice marketing budget in partnership with global functions

Required

7+ years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably in professional services or an organization with a similar sophisticated, institutional client base

Product or business unit marketing experience required, for the ability to balance firmwide strategies and marketing initiatives with the needs of specific product/BU areas

Practice-specific experience required, i.e. demonstrable knowledge of M&A, private equity, tax, FRI subject matter

Strong understanding of integrated marketing channels and tactics (digital, brand, content, media, etc.)

Proven success in leading cross-functional initiatives and managing senior stakeholder relationships

Strategic thinker with strong project management and execution skills

Highly collaborative, resourceful and comfortable in a matrixed environment

Preferred

Experience with CRM systems (InterAction or similar) and digital marketing tools is a plus
