Ebara Elliott Energy is a company seeking to fill the role of R&D Test Facility Supervisor. The main purpose of this role is to coordinate Research and Development project testing while ensuring a safe working environment and overseeing the maintenance and operation of test facilities.

Responsibilities

Maintaining test facility to provide a safe working environment

Directs hourly personnel to build test stands, and modification of stands if required

Directs maintenance of test stands and facility (building and equipment)

Oversees all testing within the test facility

Oversees maintenance of assembly tools and calibration of measurement instrumentation

When necessary, obtains quotations and issues purchasing requisitions requests

Perform other duties as assigned including assist with data collection, programming, and report outs

Required

4-Year BA Degree

Understanding of mechanical design, assembly, and instrumentation

Four or more years' experience with turbomachinery in a laboratory environment

Knowledge of motors, centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, bearings, gears, couplings, and shaft alignment

Ability to lead small teams

Ability to take precision measurements

Ability to maintain and control critical components being disassembled and assembled

Ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, layouts and schedules

Ability to follow schedules and update accordingly

Computer skills (Specifically MS office/Lotus Notes)

Fundamental knowledge of engineering materials, manufacturing processes, and technical drafting practices is required

Good communication skills verbal and written (including technical writing)
