Responsibilities
Program PLCs, HMIs, GUIs, radios, and instrumentation
Configure computer systems and establish network communications
Observe installed systems to identify potential hazards and determine adjustments, relocations, or replacements
Interpret and develop control schematics
Maintain effective written and verbal communication with internal teams and clients
Support project communications and contribute to positive client relationships
Monitor project revenue and costs to optimize profitability and minimize overruns
Ensure compliance with all necessary safety, quality, and applicable codes, standards, and regulations
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in instrumentation and controls
High school diploma or GED required
Apprentice electrical license required
Proficient in PLC and HMI programming (Siemens, Modicon, Allen Bradley)
Skilled in control system design, ladder logic, function blocks, and troubleshooting
Familiar with network setup, GUIs, and related software
Strong technical writing, documentation, and interpretation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic design/database tools
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and time management skills
Dependable, adaptable, and collaborative with a proactive mindset
Able to work independently or as part of a team
Willing to work on-call, after hours, and overtime as needed (Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.)
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
