Senior Signal Integrity Engineer
Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) is a leader in interconnect solutions for various electronics markets. They are seeking a Senior Signal Integrity Engineer to join their team, responsible for the development of high-speed electrical connectors and providing customer support for new product introductions.

Responsibilities
Collaborating on a multi-disciplinary team in the development of next generation high speed backplane interconnect products
Design, simulation, characterization, and application of high-speed electrical connectors and cable-based interconnect
Assist with providing solutions to customers across a wide range of sectors with their high-speed data transmission requirements
Support the internal Sales Engineers to develop strategies for product break-in at existing and new accounts based on signal integrity and electrical engineering expertise
Identify and resolve signal Integrity issues in PCB layout, and directing layout
Application of Circuit theory and high-speed digital transmission, PCB layout principles for high-speed digital design
Qualification
Required
BS in Electrical Engineering or Physics
Hands-on experience with frequency-domain and time-domain component and circuit characterization including understanding of test and calibration methods
Experience with signal integrity measurements and debugging with TDR, VNA, pattern generators, error detectors and similar measurement equipment
Understanding of electro-magnetic principles
Preferred
MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or Physics
2+ years of industry experience
Experience in component design and application of high-speed interconnects into communications systems
Experience with signal integrity and simulation/analysis tools such as ANSYS HFSS and Designer, CST Microwave Studio, HSPICE, MATLAB, and ADS
