Responsibilities
Work within a small, highly collaborative engineering group
Contributing to the full product lifecycle for both commercial and defense space applications
Make an impact across the embedded software stack
Core focus on bare-metal firmware development and low-level hardware interfaces
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency in C for embedded systems
Experience developing firmware on microcontrollers (bare-metal or RTOS)
Solid understanding of UART, I2C, SPI, and similar serial communication protocols
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills (e.g., JTAG/SWD, logic analyzers)
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
Successful candidates must have U.S. citizenship or permanent residency due to government contract requirements
Preferred
Previous experience with safety-critical software (space, aerospace, automotive, medical) is a plus
