Responsibilities
Triage and resolve tickets for supported systems and applications
Provide troubleshooting expertise for all aspects of an application including vendor and custom built apps
Develop and maintain knowledge base articles
Follow established procedures for managing business risk when updating production systems
Create and update process automation
Participate in projects that enhance or upgrade Parametric systems or employee experience
Working as part of a team provide complete 24/7 support to the production environment including being a member of an on-call rotation
Enhance the monitoring and oversite of applications to ensure proactive alerting where possible
Qualification
Required
6 years of relevant professional experience
4 years experience with SQL including writing and understanding queries
Experience supporting a 24/7 environment
Experience with DevOps practices including Octopus, JIRA, Confluence or equivalent platforms
Strong verbal and written communication skills targeted to a variety of audiences including technical and non-technical users
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, social environment, yet be able to work independently as necessary
Experience supporting a Windows based environment including basic server administration
Patience and attention to detail is essential
Preferred
Scripting/automation and continuous improvement experience is a plus
Previous experience supporting line of business applications is a plus
Experience with Linux/UNIX based platforms is a plus
Experience with Powershell or other scripting languages is a plus
Financial industry experience is a plus
