Responsibilities

Ability to develop audiovisual design requirements by meeting with and discussing clients’ requirements while working with the internal design team
Design and coordinate with architectural and engineering disciplines of audio/video systems for, but not limited to, boardrooms, collaboration rooms, huddle spaces, town hall venues, conference, and multipurpose rooms
Develop 2D and 3D drawings for architectural layouts of AV equipment and system schematic diagrams
Organize and lead coordination meetings and take detailed meeting minutes

Required

Bachelor's in Engineering or related discipline
4+ years of experience in AV designing, planning, and project management
Working knowledge of key audio, video, and audiovisual products from major manufacturers, including Crestron, Extron, BiAmp, QSC, Shure, Poly, Cisco, and others
Working knowledge of computer networks as they pertain to both IP-based audio and video signal transport and UC (Unified Communication) based video/audio conferencing
Expertise with sound systems, including microphone and speaker requirements, and their placement and integration in acoustic environments
Resource management in the development of RFPs
AutoCAD and REVIT proficiency
Basic knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project expected

Preferred

CTS certification is a plus
AVIXA CTS/CTS-D and manufacturer-sponsored certifications are a plus
