Gaudenzia, Inc. is seeking a Temporary Repairman who can perform repairs and maintenance work independently while assisting contractors with major repairs. The role involves a variety of maintenance tasks, ensuring safety and cleanliness in the work environment.

Responsibilities

Repairs mechanical, electrical, and plumbing breakdowns, etc
Checks and cleans all fire extinguishers, hoses, cabinets, compressors, tools, and equipment
Moves and stores furniture, equipment and supplies
Patches, plasters, repairs and paints drywall, walls, tile, ceilings, floors and doors
Cleans and replaces filters on all equipment, maintains safe and secure working area
Keeps all side walk, common and parking areas clean of debris, ice and snow
Replaces heads in sprinkler systems that are corroded, rusted or in default
Coordinates cleaning by maintenance personnel
Drives company vehicles, fills out proper mileage and maintenance forms, provides routine maintenance as directed by policy
Assists in kitchen area with daily upkeep and inventory of supplies
Occasionally will paint wall surfaces throughout building
Participates fully in assigned evacuation drills understanding fully assigned duties
Requests supervision when unclear about responsibilities, safety and work
Reports safety hazards or unsafe practices to administrative superior who will proceed with correction procedures
Other duties as assigned

Required

Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
At least 2 years of experience in a related area
