They are seeking a Human Resources Intern to gain valuable hands-on experience while providing support to professional employees and contributing to assigned projects.

Manufacturing

Responsibilities

Provides support to professional employees working in an organizational function related to the Intern's area of study

Contributes to assigned projects and may assist with the development and maintenance of documentation or records

Learns organizational processes and procedures

Job shadows other more experienced professionals and or support staff

May also support the documentation & updates of procedures or work instructions

Handles basic issues and problems

Updating training assignments and streamlining the process

Support Root Cause/Corrective action efforts for specific HR related Actions

Prepare HR-related reports as needed

Update our internal databases with new employee information

Assist in payroll related initiatives

Other duties as assigned

Required

Must be currently enrolled in related Business courses or be within 6 months of graduation; No prior experience needed

Preferred

Bachelor's or Master's Degree

Discipline/Major: Business Administration, Psychology, Human Resources, or other related field

Ability to work as part of a team

Oral and written communication skills

Attentiveness

Ability to understand and follow directions

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to demonstrate organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, using discretion and independent judgement
