Responsibilities

Conduct detailed quantitative analysis of financial data and offer strategic recommendations to project managers to ensure financial accuracy and alignment with project goals
Develops budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established procedures and regulations while analyzing budgeting and accounting reports to identify trends and potential issues
Utilizes Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) to perform financial execution functions and support data calls as required
Direct and mentor junior analysts and conduct training as necessary to enhance their understanding and application of analytical techniques and methodologies

Required

Financial management experience, including financial analysis of business programs, development of cost estimates, and program status reports
Working knowledge of DoD Financial Management Regulation (FMR); FAR; and Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) processes
Capable of performing detailed analysis of complex data to identify problems and recommend solutions
Ability to apply financial management practices to ensure validity/accuracy of metrics and reporting results
Strong customer relations, analytics, and documentation skills
Self-starter, highly motivated, strong work ethic with a commitment to quality
Microsoft office suite proficiency, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to work within a challenging, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Ability to work independently
Ability to multi-task and meet competing, deliverable deadlines
Detail oriented
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear status and/or communicate issues
Ability to adapt to evolving technology
Master's Degree in a technical, business, financial, computer science, or information technology discipline
In lieu of a Master's degree, a Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, financial, computer science, or information technology discipline, plus an additional eight (8) years of work experience, can be substituted
In lieu of a degree, an additional twelve (12) years of work experience can be substituted
Ten (10) or more years of relevant financial experience
At least three (3) years of the most recent five (5) years of experience must have been directly supporting tasking in N-ERP
This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
In order to complete the requirements for government security clearance investigation, you must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete the full background investigation
This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance
