The role involves working closely with the Maintenance Manager and Engineering Team to install, repair, and monitor the performance of plant equipment while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities
Operate basic repair and maintenance equipment
Monitor the performance of manufacturing and packaging equipment and take corrective actions, such as repairs
Promptly bring to the attention of Maintenance Manager or VP of any problems that may be beyond one’s skill set
Assist as necessary with independent repair and maintenance contractors
Assist with equipment rebuilds, upgrades and installations
Monitor and perform basic repairs and maintenance on the manufacturing, warehousing, and the office facilities
Maintains safe and clean work environment by following current good manufacturing practices (cGMP), and standard operating procedures; complying with legal regulations; monitoring environment
Qualification
Required
Ability to read, write and trouble shoot simple electrical wiring problems
Ability to perform minor level mechanical and electrical repairs to manufacturing equipment, packaging equipment, pumps, fans, facility mechanical systems etc
Ability to assist with equipment installation
Preferred
High School Diploma / Trade School Certifications Preferred
2+ Years of Manufacturing Experience - Food / Beverage / Personal Care Products / Consumer Packaged Good Preferred
