Principal Data Manager
Odyssey Systems is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem. The Principal Data Manager will provide expert support in planning, developing, implementing, and administering information systems to manage and retrieve data, ensuring compliance with security standards and best practices.
Responsibilities
Generate and evaluate equipment accountability and inventory logs and reports
Compile data, perform analysis, and prepare reports, tracking tools, and synopses of analytical results
Maintain status of CDRL items, including receiving, sending, recording activity, and reporting to Government staff
Oversee document version control and staffing for government documents
Provide input on and maintain records management plans in accordance with program requirements
Perform and document file plans; deliver documentation per records management procedures
Maintain various electronic files and program websites using web-based applications
Analyze and recommend data requirements and specifications
Design, normalize, develop, install, and implement databases
Maintain, monitor, tune performance, back up, and recover databases
Install, configure, and maintain database management system software
Analyze and plan for changes in data capacity requirements
Develop and administer data standards, policies, and procedures
Implement and manage data mining and data warehousing programs
Evaluate and recommend new database technologies and architectures
Apply cybersecurity policies, principles, and best practices to all data management services
Ensure compliance with applicable DoD, USAF, and program office security standards
Configure SharePoint services and settings, documenting architecture and configuration
Manage site quotas, file size limits, and content databases
Create new content databases as required and maintain existing ones
Review and monitor SharePoint usage reports
Administer and maintain SharePoint sites, layout structures, and content
Provide technical support and guidance to SharePoint end users
Assess and implement new SharePoint capabilities to enhance functionality
Qualification
Required
Must be a US citizen
Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret Level Clearance with current SCI eligibility
Preferred
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field
20+ years of experience with 12+ years of experience in the DoD
