Business Analyst -Capital Markets

The Business Analyst in Capital Markets will leverage expertise in capital markets to define product features, manage the product backlog, and ensure successful delivery of projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate deep expertise in capital markets, including trading lifecycle, asset and portfolio management, treasuries, bonds, derivatives, options, futures, and forex
Experience with platforms such as Bloomberg AIM and Charles River OEMS is highly desirable
Lead with a problem-first mindset to identify and define key product features
Gather and evaluate input on feature development, assessing their relative value and impact
Translate cross-functional business objectives into epics and user stories for Agile teams
Own and manage the product backlog, prioritizing based on value, complexity, risk, and strategic alignment
Provide detailed context and requirements to ensure successful delivery of iteration goals
Foster team accountability while maintaining quality and sustainable delivery pace
Support iteration planning and provide transparency when adjustments are needed
Review and evaluate delivered features at the end of each iteration to maximize business value
Continuously re-prioritize the backlog based on new insights, risks, and opportunities
Make informed decisions on software release timing and scope
Maintain and communicate clear release criteria and progress through tools like the Release Burndown Chart
Actively engage with the team throughout development cycles, offering feedback and guidance
Stay current with emerging technologies and collaborate with innovative thinkers to enhance impact
Bring strong Agile project experience and a collaborative mindset
Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and manage key partnerships
Apply strong analytical and decision-making skills to solve complex problems
Qualification
Required
