Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data in accordance with GAAP
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to leadership
Lead budgeting and forecasting processes in partnership with operations
Analyze variances between actuals, budgets, and forecasts and explain results to management
Support strategic decision-making through financial modeling and analysis
Maintain and strengthen internal controls, policies, and procedures
Support audits and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements
Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and reporting efficiency
Utilize SAP and QuickBooks to manage financial transactions and reporting
Leverage advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, macros, complex formulas) for analysis and reporting
Partner with IT and operations on system enhancements or implementations

Required

2–3 years of progressive accounting or financial management experience
Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Experience in hospitality, retail, and/or food & beverage environments
Hands-on experience with SAP and QuickBooks
Experience supporting audits and financial reviews
