Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain ETL and data integration architectures, pipelines, and workflows
Create and manage data specifications, standard data packages, and transformation logic
Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and third-party data providers to ensure accurate and timely data delivery
Implement and monitor data quality checks, validations, and error-handling mechanisms across all ETL processes
Lead root-cause analysis and resolution of data and pipeline issues
Provide technical leadership through solution design reviews, code reviews, and mentoring
Lead end-to-end implementation of complex ETL workflows across APIs, flat files, patient systems, and cloud sources
Drive automation initiatives, CI/CD adoption, and cloud-native ETL solutions, primarily in Azure
Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance, security, and regulatory standards, including HIPAA and SOX

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
7+ years of experience in ETL or data engineering roles, including 2+ years in a lead or architect capacity
Strong experience with ETL platforms such as SSIS and Azure Data Factory
Advanced SQL and data modeling skills
Experience building data pipelines in cloud environments, preferably Azure
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash and version control tools such as Git
Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills

Preferred

Experience with real-time data integration technologies such as Kafka
Familiarity with modern data warehousing platforms including Snowflake or Azure Synapse
Experience with data governance, lineage, or metadata tools
