Responsibilities

Negotiate high-impact commercial agreements with the Paxos’ strategic partners

Provide expert legal advice to senior finance and business development professionals

Play a key role in shaping Paxos’ corporate structure, including drafting intercompany agreements and overseeing the formation and governance of legal entities

Handle a variety of in-house legal workstreams, including managing Paxos’ employee stock option plan and intellectual property portfolio

Required

6-10 years commercial legal experience in corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, funds, and/or finance at a top tier law firm or high growth company (preferably a combination of both)

Experience leading complex commercial negotiations

Commercial mindset with deep understanding of practical business issues

Experience working cross-functionally on multiple projects under tight deadlines while developing strong client relationships

Experience forming and managing legal entities in a variety of international jurisdictions

Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and demanding environment

Excellent written/verbal communication and negotiation skills
