Responsibilities

Lead a full-stack product engineering team of ~11 direct reports
Partner with a Product Manager and Designer to plan roadmaps and sprints
Drive results for customers by owning execution for your team through standard Agile processes
Drive engineering excellence by helping the team make effective tradeoffs between technical requirements and business goals, and keeping a pulse on quality
Foster talent development by supporting personal growth, career advancement, and diverse hiring practices
Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive team culture with high accountability and autonomy

Qualification

Required

BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics) or equivalent technical experience
Minimum of 3 years of people management experience with an engineering team
Minimum of 5 year as a software engineer or equivalent technical experience
Must have experience collaborating with a Product Manager to set direction
Must have experience running a standard Agile process such as sprint planning, standups, retros, etc

Preferred

Experience building web apps with Ruby on Rails and React
Experience in high-ambiguity environments (startup or new initiative)
