Responsibilities

Research and solve problems in computer graphics, computer vision, and machine learning, with a focus on developing methods that connect vector graphics and raster images for content creation and editing
Collaborate with other researchers at Adobe to invent state-of-the-art algorithms for these problems
Publish research at premier venues and pursue patent protection for novel algorithms
Build and iterate on functional prototypes of these algorithms
Collaborate with product groups to integrate these prototypes into Adobe's products

Qualification

Ph.D. in Computer ScienceComputer graphicsComputer visionMachine learningPythonDeep learningVector graphicsMultimodal large language modelsDiffusion modelsVerbal communicationWritten communicationMentoring

Required

Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related technical field, with a focus on computer graphics, computer vision and/or machine learning
A strong personal research track record including peer-reviewed publications in top computer vision, graphics, and machine learning venues
Expertise in one or more of the following areas: vector graphics, training and fine-tuning multimodal large language models, and diffusion models for both image and non-image data generation
Strong Python and deep learning development skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A desire to turn research ideas into shippable production-ready code

Preferred

Familiarity with 2D content creation tools (e.g., Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.)
Track record of successful research-to-product transitions or technology transfers
Experience mentoring interns or junior researchers
