ITS Application Analyst II / IS Care Connect
Hartford HealthCare is Connecticut’s most comprehensive healthcare network, seeking an Application Analyst to support the implementation of the Epic electronic health record. The analyst will work on designing, building, and testing clinical systems while ensuring effective workflow analysis and documentation.

Responsibilities
Analyzes workflow and how it translates into application configurations to ensure consistent system design
Anticipates and provides solutions to complex problems with the necessary priorities
Completes specific build tasks as assigned
Assists in building clinical documentation tools and testing of new clinical content functionality
Documents and maintains all required system design and build documents and configures system accordingly
Participates actively in weekly team meetings to discuss team and project related activities, issues, change, communications, and updates
Coordinates vendor support for functional and technical support of assigned areas as needed
Communicates with customer base on the progress of troubleshooting issues and project deliverables
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience in a HealthCare environment
Preferred
Relevant perioperative clinical experience or with clinical information systems in a perioperative care setting preferred
Epic Optime or Anesthesia certification or proficiency a plus
