Responsibilities

Document and maintain solution-level views of how current business capabilities and business functionality are supported by people, process, and technology including data architecture and support integration

Advise and guide business and stakeholders on technology capabilities, mapping to business requirements in alignment with End to End Enterprise Architecture Strategy

Establish strategic technical targets for business capabilities and business functionality

Participate in the creation of technical roadmaps for the strategic technical target

Work with business stakeholders and analysts to understand and influence key business requirements that drive solutions

Contribute to solution / vendor evaluation, integration spec reviews and solution selection

Collaborate with business systems analysts, security architects, technical architects, network architects and data architects to create project solutions that respect Enterprise Wide Strategic Technical Vision

Perform project reviews, ensuring compliance with architecture standards, roadmaps, patterns and guidelines and approve architecture solutions

Continuously conduct research to be up to speed with the industry trends and vendor developments. Leverage recent technology achievements to enable new business opportunities

Required

Bachelor's Degree or combination of relevant education and experience

5+ years' experience in IT Architecture, Solution Architecture, Business Architecture or similar experience required

Extensive experience with API development and integration across Business Systems – CRM, OSS, BSS, Finance, Product Catalogue and 3rd party integrations (payment, provisioning, fulfillment, inventory, etc)

Experience in a fully digital environment

Requires extensive Front End (website, digital check out, customer portal), Billing and CRM experience

Experience with ServiceNow capabilities

eCommerce experience, specifically with regards to Catalogue Management, Buy-Flow, Self-Serve and supporting technologies

Omni-channel capabilities - Web and Call Centre applications & architecture patterns

Ability to drive solutions which align with the end to end Enterprise Strategic Architecture

Ability to drive a strategic and technological planning process

Ability to interpret business needs into reliable, agile and viable solutions

Ability to understand financial assessments as they apply to architecture solutions

Ability to formulate and/or understand ‘change requests' against vendor solutions, challenge vendor estimates for those ‘change requests' and propose alternative solutions, in the best interest of Cogeco

Possess a thorough knowledge of architecture concepts, e.g., service oriented architectures, and current leading practice specifically in the telecommunications industry
