Biostatistician II

Responsibilities
Perform data management procedures, including data cleaning and harmonization
Conduct statistical analyses using advanced multivariate methods, spline based graphical techniques, and meta-analytic procedures
Identify potential data or analytic issues and recommend or implement corrective actions
Collaborate with epidemiologists, senior statisticians, postdoctoral fellows and doctoral students on manuscripts, abstracts and other scientific publications
Provide technical support and guidance to project team members
Conduct quality control checks of analysis programs
Participate in peer review and critique of reports and analyses; and work collaboratively to resolve technical challenges
Collaborate directly with principal investigators, postdoctoral fellows, doctoral students, other biostatisticians, and other researchers with minimal supervision
Maintain and enhance professional knowledge and expertise
Performs other duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Master's Degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a closely-related field required
3+ years of related experience required
Experience with statistical software (such as SAS, Stata, etc.) required
Preferred
Experience using SAS is strongly desired
