Responsibilities
Perform and complete operations, preventative maintenance, and repairs of plant utility systems
Complete daily safety checks/rounds per the standard application
Read and understand equipment P&ID’s and applicable blueprints
Perform all duties in accordance with OSHA – IIAR 6 regulations
Timely repair of plant utility equipment/systems with precision maintenance techniques as necessary to meet production rates and maintenance downtime goals
Data entry daily into current CMMS system including preventative maintenance records, inspections, and stock replacement parts used
Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, including all safety protocols and company policies
Perform other duties as assigned by supervision
Qualification
Required
Ability to interpret schematics and blueprints during troubleshooting
Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to self-motivate and work independently
Comfortable operating at high elevations
Ability to lift or move 75 pounds
Ability to withstand changing environments
Ability to operate an aerial lift and sit-down forklift
Basic computer skills required
1 + year of industrial maintenance/refrigeration experience required
Preferred
High school diploma, Associates degree or equivalent certifications in Refrigeration/Mechanical field are preferred
IIAR Ammonia Refrigeration training Preferred
RETA/CIRO/CARO – Operators License Preferred
EPA TYPE Universal License Preferred
Boiler Operator License Preferred
3 + years industrial ammonia refrigeration experience preferred
Proficient experience with Microsoft based software, such as Excel, Word, Outlook, etc
Experience with SAP systems is preferred
