Responsibilities

Serve as ISSM/ISSO for multiple classified networks, ensuring compliance with federal and DoD cybersecurity standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ICD 503, CNSS, DAAPM, JSIG, RMF)
Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices for multi-site environments
Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, continuous monitoring, and security audits
Prepare and maintain security documentation including ATO packets, Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessments (RALs), and POA&Ms
Lead incident response efforts, including detection, analysis, and remediation
Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to protect classified information
Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to cybersecurity staff

Required

10+ years of cybersecurity experience with classified networks, system administration, and multi-site IT infrastructure management
Experience with Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, networking protocols, firewalls, encryption, cloud security, and hybrid networks
Strong knowledge of federal and DoD cybersecurity policies, regulations, and frameworks
Familiarity with security tools (SIEMs, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners) and automated patch management
ISSM/ISSO training and certification per DoDM 8140.03
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GSLC
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
Active Top Secret clearance required

Preferred

Additional certifications (Security+, CISA, CCSP) preferred
