The Tool Technician provides hands-on support for tool maintenance, repair, and shopfloor readiness, ensuring tools are functional and available for engine maintenance operations.

Responsibilities
Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on tools and fixtures
Troubleshoot tool issues during engine disassembly and assembly and provide immediate support to production
Ensure proper tool handling and storage in the shopfloor environment
Create tailored tool kits for specific workscopes and processes
Develop and implement concepts for tool organization, such as shadow boards and visual management systems
Manage tool inventory, issue, and return processes
Support tool tracking and condition monitoring
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong understanding of engine systems, components, and maintenance procedures
Familiarity with OEM manuals (e.g., CMM, AMM, IPC) and digital maintenance platforms
Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team-oriented environment
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Excellent work ethic and motivation for a high standard of work
Preferred
Technical diploma or associate degree in aviation maintenance
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification or equivalent (EASA Part-66, etc.)
Experience in engine maintenance, preferably in a DAT MRO environment
