Responsibilities

Business analysis and requirements gathering: Interview key stakeholders in order to document and prioritize fixes and enhancements needed for product go live

Test Case creation : Ability to create detailed test cases based on internal and external user feedback

Test Execution: Execute test cases to identify defects, ensure functionality, and verify that the software meets quality standards

Defect Tracking: Document and track defects, issues, and deviations from project specifications. Work closely with project team to troubleshoot and resolve identified issues

Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that new software versions or updates do not adversely affect existing functionality

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including vendors, product managers, and business analysts, to communicate testing progress, issues, and recommendations

Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to testing processes, test cases, and testing results

Testing Tools: Familiarity with testing tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, and others

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues effectively

Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and convey testing results and recommendations to stakeholders

Attention to Detail: Thorough attention to detail to ensure comprehensive test coverage and accurate defect reporting

Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements, priorities, and timelines

Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Election Domain Knowledge: Preferred but not required
