The Hydro Blast Technician will perform a wide range of physical activities that require strength and flexibility for handling equipment and materials, emergency response, and high-pressure water blasting.

Responsibilities

Operate and set-up all necessary cleaning equipment such as high-pressure pumps, in service line hydro-blasting, and vacuum), in accordance with operational and training and guidelines and safety procedures

Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including but not limited to personal protective gear

Ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and heaving industrial settings

Manually clean, install, fit repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets and all other external and internal equipment on tanks

Assist in the inspection of equipment, hoses, connections, pumps and general work area prior to starting any job. Informs supervisor of deficiencies, which may cause accidents, injuries or lost productivity
