Chief Financial Officer
PKF O'Connor Davies TalentConnect is representing a mission-driven nonprofit in Brooklyn seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer. The CFO will lead all aspects of financial strategy, reporting, and controls for a multi-program human services organization focused on addressing critical social issues.

Responsibilities
Own the organization’s overall financial strategy, planning, and analysis
Lead accounting, payroll, reporting, and internal controls
Oversee budgeting, budget modifications, and forecasting across all programs
Manage annual audits, compliance, and financial reporting (including Form 990)
Review and approve claims to government funders and ensure contract compliance
Partner closely with the CEO and Board on financial strategy and organizational growth
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance
8–10 years of senior-level financial management experience
Experience with NYC and NYS government contracts
Comfort managing complex funding streams (government, philanthropy, other revenue)
Proficiency with Excel and nonprofit accounting/payroll systems
Track record of building and leading high-performing finance teams
Preferred
CPA strongly preferred
nonprofit/human services highly preferred
familiarity with DSS/DHS/HRA a strong plus
