Responsibilities
Preparing financial information for management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing financial reports
Have experience working with income tax return programs, particularly individual income taxes
Communicate with email, on the phone and video conferences
Possess analytical skills
Have a good working knowledge of Excel and ability to learn new formulas and fix spreadsheet issues
Document decisions and customer communications within workpapers
Manage projects: move forward on other areas when stuck on one matter
Always be present while at work
Adapt quickly to new technology and procedures
Maintain confidentiality
Qualification
Required
Experience working with income tax return programs, particularly individual income taxes
Ability to communicate via email, phone, and video conferences
Possess analytical skills to compare end results with expected results
Good working knowledge of Excel and ability to learn new formulas and fix spreadsheet issues
Ability to form a 'big picture' understanding and apply a commonsense approach
Document decisions and customer communications within workpapers
Manage projects effectively and avoid piecemeal movements
Be present while at work, listen, learn, speak up, follow, and advise
Adapt quickly to new technology and procedures
Maintain confidentiality and hold to the highest professional standards and quality control
Detail-oriented with a focus on accurate and professional outcomes
Provide references for at least one former supervisor and two others
Undergo a background check before final hiring
