Responsibilities
Create and review mechanical drawings with appropriate personnel verifying completed work, checking dimensions, materials and quantities to be used
Conducting tolerance analysis, evaluating hardware selection, and confirming fitment on assembly drawings
Verifying 3D models submitted for manufacturing using Siemens NX 12 within a Teamcenter-managed environment
Serving as a liaison between various engineering disciplines, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure alignment
Coordination with vendors as needed to support design and production requirements
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in CAD design in the aerospace industry
Experience with Siemens NX
Eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance
High School Diploma
