Responsibilities
Develop full-stack solutions using React, TypeScript, Python and modern frameworks delivering robust backend services and intuitive frontend interfaces
Build and maintain secure, scalable APIs, services and integrations for handling large datasets and powering enterprise-grade drone operations
Integrate geospatial capabilities using Mapbox and other APIs with autonomy systems and AWS cloud infrastructure for high performance and reliability
Work alongside Autonomy engineers, and collaborate with Product, Design and Field teams to rapidly iterate, integrate feedback, and deliver new capabilities
Contribute to code reviews, architectural decisions, and proof-of-concepts, upholding high engineering standards
Qualification
Required
8+ years building full stack systems; proficiency in TypeScript, React, GraphQL, Python and AWS
Systems Thinking: Capable of designing end-to-end solutions with performance, testing, and observability in mind
Develop full-stack solutions using React, TypeScript, Python and modern frameworks delivering robust backend services and intuitive frontend interfaces
Build and maintain secure, scalable APIs, services and integrations for handling large datasets and powering enterprise-grade drone operations
Integrate geospatial capabilities using Mapbox and other APIs with autonomy systems and AWS cloud infrastructure for high performance and reliability
Work alongside Autonomy engineers, and collaborate with Product, Design and Field teams to rapidly iterate, integrate feedback, and deliver new capabilities
Contribute to code reviews, architectural decisions, and proof-of-concepts, upholding high engineering standards
Preferred
Experience with Mapbox APIs OR hands-on geospatial knowledge (PostGIS, ArcGIS, QGIS) OR data visualization skills is a huge plus
Mission Planning & Robotics: Familiarity with decision-making architectures for autonomous operations such as state-machine or behavior-trees is a big plus
Experience working with geospatial data visualization (Mapbox, Cesium, or similar)
Familiarity with photogrammetry, scanning, mapping, or rendering pipelines
Experience integrating frontend with cloud-based services (AWS, Temporal, Kubernetes)
Exposure to autonomy or robotics platforms
