Human Resources Assistant
Belimo is the global market leader in the development, production, and marketing of field devices for the energy-efficient control of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for being the first point of contact for HR questions and providing administrative support for the HR team.
Responsibilities
First line of support for HR questions and inquiries received by staff at the Danbury, CT Headquarters
Maintain physical presence in the Danbury Human Resources office and be a welcoming and supportive resource for all walk-ins
Coordinate with HR colleagues on escalated matters
Process weekly and monthly HR invoices
Manage pre-employment screening process, ensuring that pre-employment screenings are complete and accurate
Complete employment verification letters and forms
Prepare and post HR communications, both electronic and in office
Create a weekly calendar of all on-site interviews and provide support as needed
Create offer packets and employment files for New Hires and conversions
Regular maintenance and stocking of supplies and materials including New Hire Gifts
Assist with any additional HR admin support and events as needed
Act as a back-up for Reception on as-needed basis (vacation coverage, lunch coverage, etc.)
Qualification
Required
Associates Degree In a Related Field Required, Bachelors Preferred
Two years of applicable HR Assistant or reception experience required
Employee must have a high-degree of organizational skills, while being able to multi-task and prioritize individual tasks in a fast-paced growing organization
Strong Microsoft Office and HRIS skills, SuccessFactors a plus
Ability to communicate, organize and execute tasks timely
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels and backgrounds
