Responsibilities

Translate vague product goals into clear flows
Move quickly from exploration to polished design
Designs with engineering in mind, creating systems that are easy to understand, build, and maintain
Talking with users and testing designs to uncover insights and refine solutions
Create component libraries and design systems that increase leverage across the team
Push for clarity, simplicity, and delight in every user touchpoint
Work with autonomy, communicate decisions well, and take ownership of outcomes
Uphold and evolve a premium visual identity that reflects the brand’s ambition

Qualification

Required

Three to eight years of design experience primarily on product teams
Has owned both UX and UI as a sole or primary designer for a product
Strong proficiency with Figma and modern design workflows
Demonstrated ability to communicate design choices clearly and defend decisions
Experience running or contributing to user research and usability testing

Preferred

Experience as the first designer at a startup
Experience working on AI or LLM powered products
