Responsibilities
Perform basic to moderate site evaluations including: geologic and seismic evaluations, and hydrogeologic analyses (such as aquifer test analysis, geochemical analysis, geotechnical analysis, and contaminant transport analysis) in both surface and subsurface geologic conditions related to contaminant assessments
Lithologic and geophysical well logging
Water sampling
Surface geological mapping
Aquifer performance testing
Soils characterization
Data compilation and evaluation
Prepare cross sections, iso-contour and iso-concentration maps
Perform QA/QC analyses
Develop draft evaluations and calculations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Ensure that firm policies and practices are followed on all projects
Attend conferences and/or contribute to the firm’s Technical Knowledge Management (TKM) by developing white papers and technical design documentation for new or special case designs for publication in technical journals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Science or related discipline
1 year of related experience
An appropriate and valid driver's license is required
Intermediate Knowledge of computer assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices
Basic knowledge of scientific methods and processes
Expert Knowledge of Microsoft business software (excel, word, etc.)
Good written and verbal communications skills
