LHH is currently recruiting a Senior Accountant with SAP S/4HANA and payroll accounting experience for a contract assignment with one of our clients in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills, month-end close, and SAP S/4HANA systems experience.

Responsibilities

Perform month-end close functions including journal entry preparation and review of accruals
Prepare and analyze balance sheet account reconciliations and prepare bank reconciliations
Responsible for reconciling payroll and benefits related accounts, and preparing journal entries to record payroll and benefits in the general ledger
Perform monthly variance analysis and review of reconciling items
Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules

SAP S/4HANAPayroll accountingAdvanced ExcelGeneral accountingEffective communicationOrganizational skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of general accounting and analysis experience
Advanced Excel and SAP S/4HANA systems experience
Effective communication and organizational skills
